Undefeated Florida State is getting a test Saturday against Boston College, and they’ll have to try and survive without young talented linebacker Matthew Thomas. Thomas, a redshirt freshman who spent much of the season suspended for a violation of team rules, was ejected for this hit on Josh Bordner.

Thomas will miss half of Florida State’s regular season finale against Florida as a result of the hit. It came just plays after a Boston College defender lit up Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston with what appeared to be a helmet-to-helmet hit.

Boston College ended up scoring on the drive, tying the game at 17-17.
