Notre Dame fans will probably be pretty bummed about this play, because it looked like Strong benefitted from a pick, and, well,Notre Dame has a history with offensive pass interference on pick plays. Their gripe is probably legitimate, but Arizona State’s receiver on this play at least pretended he was doing something besides setting a pick, which was enough to keep refs from noticing.
