Notre Dame’s Everett Golson can’t stop turning the ball over

Turnover issues have been a big problem for Everett Golson all year, and that’s really hurt the Fighting Irish today.

Everett Golson had 12 turnovers in the five games coming into Notre Dame-Arizona State. That’s a lot! And against Arizona State... well...

First, he put the ball on the ground while being sacked. No, he just kinda put it there:

Then he threw a pick, as he couldn’t get his throw over DL Demetrius Cherry:

Then this one got picked off by Damarious Russell and returned for a 59-yard TD:

You can’t really blame him for this pick-6 -- it’s off the hand of Corey Robinson -- but it does count, and pretty much sealed the deal:
