Plenty of Alabama vs. Ohio State things to read before the Sugar Bowl
Rounding up everything you need to know on the upcoming Playoff semifinal between the Buckeyes and the Crimson Tide.
Our Ohio State site, Land-Grant Holy Land, our Alabama site, Roll Bama Roll, and our contributors here at SBNation.com are combining to hit just about every angle of this game.
The biggest piece of impact news so far has been that Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman has been hired as Houston's head coach, but he will be coaching the Buckeyes through the Playoff. That's very good news for Ohio State, who saw two different Heisman-contending quarterbacks go down with season-ending injuries, only to see sophomore Cardale Jones pass for 257 yards and three touchdowns in the Big Ten Championship Game against Wisconsin in his first start. Jones will face an Alabama defense that is among the nation's best.
