West Virginia kicker makes field goal moments after getting hit in the groin

Oww oww oww oww oww.

As a nation, we stand as one in appreciation of West Virginia kicker Josh Lambert. The Mountaineers are chasing Texas A&M in the Liberty Bowl, and lined up for a field goal that would have made it a one score game. As Lambert followed through, well, take a look for yourself:

Yes, that's defensive back De'Vante Harris trying to block the field goal and coming up with an open hand slap to Lambert's groin. The play resulted in a roughing the kicker penalty (obviously), and Lambert looked like he was in considerable pain afterwards. A few plays later, Lambert drove home another field goal to make it 38-30 Aggies.

Fighting through adversity is important.
