Star TCU DE Devonte Fields a suspect after allegedly pointing gun at ex-girlfriend
Fields allegedly told his ex-girlfriend, “I should blast you,” after punching a hole through her bedroom window.

The alleged victim, who has declined to press charges, said that Fields punched out her bedroom window after hearing her talk to a male friend. She said he then yelled at her and threatened to shoot her with gun in hand.
“Haley stated that she thought Devonte was holding a gun in one of his hands and stated that he pointed it at her,” the report states.
“I should blast you!” he yelled at Haley, according to the report.
In addition to the threat, the victim claims Fields punched her once in the face after another roommate let him into the building, according to the paper.
Fields was picked as the Big 12’s Preseason Defensive Player of the Year this season after winning the Big 12’s Freshman of the Year award in 2012. However, off-field and on-field incidents got in the way last year. Fields was robbed in January of last year, but chose not to press charges. Still, he was suspended for the first game of 2013 and part of the second game. In the third game, he suffered a season-ending foot injury.
Update: TCU announced that Fields has been “separated from the University.”
