Saturday college football TV/streaming schedule for Sept. 13, 2014

While Week 3 of college football doesn’t have many heavyweights going head-to-head -- No. 6 Georgia vs. No. 24 South Carolina is the only game featuring two ranked teams -- there are several games on the undercard that could be low-key fascinating.

No. 17 Virginia Tech is coming off its biggest win in several years, and the Hokies could be primed for a letdown in their noon kickoff against sneaky-good East Carolina. After nearly beating Penn State in Ireland, UCF will be a difficult early-season test for No. 20 Missouri. Arkansas-Texas Tech will be an interesting contrast of offensive philosophies (and head coach body mass indexes). And while Oklahoma is expected to eventually beat Tennessee going away, the Volunteers’ trip to Norman will give us a good idea of just how SEC-ready Butch Jones has his young team.

Before the season even began, Georgia-South Carolina was easy to spot as the biggest matchup of Week 3. Though not quite the must-see event it would have been had the Gamecocks beaten Texas A&M in week one, there may be no single game with a bigger hand in determining the winner of the SEC East. No. 12 UCLA vs. Texas has also lost some sheen after the Longhorns got thumped by BYU.
