Saturday college football TV/streaming schedule, Sept. 20

We at SB Nation encourage you to spend your entire Saturday watching college football, but this week, your best bet to catch the game of the week probably won’t come until the evening. There are some good games in the afternoon, from Florida-Alabama to Virginia-BYU. But the biggest games start at night.

Five primetime games carry a lot of intrigue this Saturday. Clemson-Florida State leads the way, as the Tigers try to get revenge on the Seminoles, who will be without Jameis Winston for the full game. Oklahoma-West Virginia could also be a sneaky-good game, as the Sooners will put their College Football Playoff hopes to the test early in the season and try to avoid a shootout with the Mountaineers. Miami-Nebraska would have been better 20 years ago, but still should be entertaining, Mississippi State-LSU could finally get Dan Mullen’s team over the hump on the national scene and Northern Illinois-Arkansas will be an interesting gut-check game for both teams.

The night doesn’t end after primetime. Two young, but talented, offenses in Cal and Arizona go at it in the desert, while Washington State will try to put together a miracle upset against Oregon to turn its season around. Get ready for a fun day of football — and if you can’t stick around all day, make sure you’re in front of a TV (or two) by primetime.
