Spurrier pokes Texas A&M over schedule, Sumlin pokes back

South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier has called out Texas A&M again, taking an apparent shot at the Aggies’ strength of schedule during a press conference Tuesday.
Spurrier on high point totals in the SEC: "Oh, you gotta realize most of these teams play somebody like Lamar."
— G&B Attack (@GABAttack) September 23, 2014 Guess who played Lamar! Texas A&M in Week 2, a game they won 73-3.
Aggies head coach Kevin Sumlin addressed the question of A&M’s schedule an hour later, pointing to Texas A&M’s 52-28 Week 1 victory over ... South Carolina.
Sumlin: Keep hearing people think we haven't played anybody. I think they forgot about the first week.
— Kate Hairopoulos (@khairopoulos) September 23, 2014 Spurrier previously called Sumlin “a great negotiator” with regards to the latter’s hefty contract.
