Two reeling programs will try to get back on their feet on Saturday when No. 19 Georgia heads to Knoxville to face Tennessee.
How to watch Georgia vs. Tennessee on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Can Tennessee stop the bleeding when Georgia comes to town? Here’s how you can tune in, and what to watch for.
Just a week ago, the story surrounding the Bulldogs was very different. They were headed into a top-10 home game against Alabama, and could firmly establish themselves as a favorite for the SEC title with a win. Instead, they got smashed by the Tide, and it feels a little like they’re going back to square one. A loss to Tennessee would be a massive letdown, one they can’t afford if they still want to play for the SEC title.
The Vols, meanwhile, are staring down the barrel of the three game losing streak if they can’t get the job done against Georgia, with a trip to Alabama on deck after a bye week. This is a game Butch Jones and Tennessee needs desperately, but considering the way they coughed up their games against Florida and Arkansas, things are not boding well for their chances.

Three big things to know
1. Georgia’s going to run. Nick Chubb’s rushing totals from the Alabama game don’t look that bad in a vacuum, but more than half of his 146 yards came on an 83 yard touchdown run in garbage time. Considering how shaky the passing game was, the Dawgs will want to get back to basics and give Chubb as much work as he can handle. That doesn’t bode well for Tennessee, who allows almost 4.5 yards per carry and has the nation’s 79th ranked rush defense.
2. How does Tennessee respond? The Vols lost an absolute crusher to Florida two weeks ago, giving up ___. They responded by blowing an early 14-0 lead at home to Arkansas a week later. With so much negative energy surrounding the program, how will they respond to facing a Georgia team that’s embarrassed and looking to take out their frustrations?
3. Will Lambert keep a hold of the starting job? Grayson Lambert was brutal against Alabama, but then again, so was basically everyone for Georgia. Mark Richt reiterated that Lambert is still the starter ahead of Bryce Ramsey, but a good game against the Vols would go a long way to stabilizing his position as the starting quarterback.
