Things are not going well at Miami. As the Al Golden era enters perhaps its final chapter, the natives are restless. The U isn’t The U anymore, and even the school’s biggest fans, like Uncle Luke, are ready to move on to a new-look Miami mimicking the old days.
How to watch Miami vs. Florida State on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
The stakes are high for both teams.

Here's my top 5 for the U job Butch Davis Mario Cristobal Gary Peterson Dana Hologram Pep Hamilton. It's NOT in Order.
— LUTHER R CAMPBELL (@unclelukereal1) October 6, 2015 Miami looked to maybe be on the up-and-up this year after beating Nebraska, but that close escape didn’t sit well with Hurricanes fans, and their fears were validated with a loss at Cincinnati last week. Now, the Hurricanes have a chance to get their biggest win of the Al Golden era against a possibly beatable Florida State team, and it could be Golden’s last opportunity to save his job.
Beating Florida State is still a tough task, but even though the Seminoles are undefeated, they don’t appear to be as scary as they’ve been the past three years. The offense hasn’t been impressive so far under new quarterback Everett Golson, and star running back Dalvin Cook might be out or limited with a hamstring injury. Could Miami pull off the upset? This is as good a year as any to do it, and it couldn’t come at a better time.

Three big things to know
1. #FSUTwitter likes to talk trash to people a lot on the Internet. So Miami made a website where they can dump all their unsolicited comments.
2. Steven Godfrey’s profile of Uncle Luke and his thoughts on the Miami program is must-read material.
3. Is this really make or break for Al Golden? A win in this game alone won’t save his job, but if it’s a springboard for a better season, we might look at this game as the one that saved Golden’s career at The U.
