UConn’s only good win last season came against UCF, so the Huskies decided to give themselves a trophy for that win, creating a new rivalry with the Knights called the Civil ConFLiCT. (Get it!? Both state abbreviations are capitalized!) This rivalry is dumb for many reasons, but perhaps the biggest reason is that UConn never told UCF about the “rivalry” or the trophy.
UConn brought its made-up rivalry trophy to UCF. UCF’s mascot just made fun of it.
It’s not going to happen.

UCF still isn’t having it, apparently.
I think Regina George said it best pic.twitter.com/OTxNCVo9Mg
— Knightro (@UCF_Knightro) October 10, 2015 The trophy is at the game, so even if UCF is making fun of it, UConn is still serious about it.
The conFLiCT trophy is on the UConn sideline right now. Who is gonna take this home? pic.twitter.com/72xEEdRWtj
