Michigan shut out its third straight opponent this week with perhaps its most impressive game yet in a 38-0 win over No. 13 Northwestern. That’s the first time a team has had three straight shutouts in 20 years. As the clock wound down on Northwestern’s last offensive series, the Michigan crowd showed its approval with a loud “defense” chant.
