After ‘SEC bias’ freakout, FSU points out ESPN didn’t share the AP Top 25 the same as last week

Last week, SportsCenter tweeted out the top 11 teams in the country. That seems like a strange number to stop at, and Florida was No. 11, so everyone screamed SEC bias. This week, SportsCenter tweeted the top 10, but Florida State, not Florida, is No. 11. So, FSU helped SportsCenter out.

For what it’s worth, “Florida State” would not have fit in the 140-character tweet, but “FSU” would have. “Florida State” would have fit if SportsCenter had used “new” instead of “latest,” like it did last week.

A reminder that ESPN hates every team, but there actually is a pretty good reason ESPN talks about the SEC so much.
