KEEP AL GOLDEN plane banners now spotted at Miami games, for some reason

Same medium, different message.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

It’s another gameday for Miami, which means someone is inevitably flying a banner about Al Golden above the stadium. Except this week, the people who paid for these banners for some unbelievable reason actually want to keep him, not fire him.

Several different times this season, the FIRE AL GOLDEN banners were the ones flying over Miami, and they even made it all the way up to Cincinnati for their game against the Bearcats. After the Canes lost to Florida State last week, the Noles even got in on the fun.

It’s possible that if Miami actually fires Al Golden, the local airplane banner economy could collapse. So if you’re keeping a PROS and CONS chart at home for firing Al Golden, go ahead and put this one in the CON column.

Update: The FIRE AL GOLDEN side has their own banner today, too.
