FUNBELT! Appalachian State welcomed Georgia Southern to town for another edition of their FCS-to-FBS rivalry, and the Mountaineer defense choked the Eagles out en route to a 31-13 win. App State is now the clear favorite to win the Sun Belt, and maybe with a little (Read: a lot) of help, they could be in contention for the Group of Five New Years bowl bid. They need a bunch of teams to lose, but a team can dream, no?
