How to watch Indiana vs. Michigan State on TV or online, plus 3 things to know

Will we see another crazy finish?

Just two weeks ago, it looked like these two teams were trending in opposite directions. Michigan State was struggling at home with Purdue, while Indiana came close to knocking off No. 1 Ohio State. Oh, how things have changed. Indiana has gone on to lose to both Penn State and Rutgers, giving up a massive fourth quarter comeback in the latter. The Hoosiers are missing star running back Jordan Howard, but with top quarterback Nate Sudfeld and a supposedly-improving defense, this team should be better.

Michigan State just came off the game you’ve been hearing about all week, stunning Michigan on a last-second muffed punt returned for a touchdown. Even though the Spartans almost lost, they actually played pretty well in that game, and the offense finally got going against a very good defense after struggling against bottom feeders Purdue and Rutgers.

MSU seems to have enjoyed its win past the normal 24-hour rule, but it’s right back to work for the Spartans against Indiana. Now that the MSU offense has gotten going, can the IU defense handle it at all? Can IU keep up? The Hoosiers certainly have a lot to prove after the past two weeks.

Three big things to know

1. When you give up a 25-point comeback to Rutgers, you’re going to get a lot of ridicule, and Kevin Wilson has gone from headed in the right direction to back on the hot seat. He could really use a big win to show everyone the Hoosiers are on the right track.

2. Now it’s time for Michigan State to show it’s a true College Football Playoff contender. That means no more close games against weaker competition.

3. Both of these teams saw ridiculous endings last week, but were on opposite sides. Let’s hope this ending is just as good.
