What do we know about Oklahoma at this point? Well, we know the Sooners are pretty good, and they can be elite at time, but other times they lose to Texas. Last week, we got the good Sooners, as OU shut out a solid Kansas State team, 55-0, and showed offensive and defensive prowess we have yet to see at the same time this season. Oklahoma can still make the College Football Playoff, but that means no margin for error, including against this high-powered Texas Tech offense.
How to watch Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Points! Points! Points!
Texas Tech looked really good at the beginning of the season, taking down Arkansas and nearly taking down TCU in a narrow 55-52 loss. This isn’t the year the Red Raiders are going to win the Big 12 — that was certain after they lost to TCU, and then got blown out by Baylor, in back-to-back weeks — but this team is improving and has the potential to knock off some ranked teams, like Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
Which one of these high-powered offenses will prevail? Can Texas Tech solidify itself as an upstart in the league, or can Oklahoma prove it is still a Big 12 contender?

Three big things to know
1. Which Oklahoma will we get this week? Pretty good Oklahoma? Really good Oklahoma? Lost to Texas Oklahoma? The easy narrative is that the Sooners turned things around after the Texas game, but anyone who follows OU has the right to be skeptical.
2. What if Bob Stoops loses this game? Will Oklahoma fans be pushing for a new coach? The Sooners have had issues underachieving in the past, and this certainly wouldn’t help his hot seat (if you can really call it that) in Norman.
3. We’ve seen what Texas Tech offenses can do under Kliff Kingsbury, but the Red Raiders don’t have a marquee win yet. This would be as good a game as any to change that.
