Iowa State’s coach does not realize his players know he fired their offensive coordinator

The Internet can spread news fairly quickly, Paul Rhoads.

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads announced to the media that Mark Mangino is out as offensive coordinator. However, he has yet to tell his players, because he wants to “look them in the eye” when he does it.

The problem with waiting to “look the players in the eye” is that they all have access to the Internet. And they seem thoroughly confused at the moment.

Rhoads probably should have known his players have computers. The computer was invented in Ames!
