How to watch Oregon vs. Arizona State on TV or online, plus 3 things to know

Which disappointing team will show up?

Jennifer Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Before the season, Oregon vs. Arizona State looked like it could be a big game in the Pac-12 race. However, like much of the Pac-12, both of these teams have disappointed so far, and they’re far out of their respective division races.

Oregon has been one of the biggest busts this season. The Ducks lost at Michigan State, which is perfectly respectable, but they were then blown off at home by Utah, and the wheels seemed to fall off with a home loss against Washington State. Now, with injured quarterback Vernon Adams back, and a win against Washington under its belt, Oregon is looking to get back to winning.

Arizona State has been inconsistent and sits at 4-3 after going into the year with aspirations to win the Pac-12 South. The Sun Devils have had some great games, including a win over UCLA at the Rose Bowl, but ASU was also blown out by USC and made too many mistakes in a loss to Utah.

Both of these teams desperately need to win this game to show that they’re on the right track. A loss could make a disappointing season that much worse, but a win could help either team turn its season around.

Three big things to know

1. What can Oregon’s offense do with Adams back to full health? The Ducks looked good against Washington, even though they didn’t dominate on the scoreboard, and Adams still has half a season to show he can do great things in Eugene.

2. Arizona State has an explosive offense at times, but the Sun Devils have to be more consistent and minimize mistakes to take advantage of that offense.

3. This is Oregon’s worst defense in years. Can it hold up against that potentially dangerous ASU offense?
