How to watch Texas Tech vs. Baylor on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Get ready for a good old-fashioned shootout.
Texas Tech has been a pleasant surprise this season, with a win over Arkansas and a close loss to TCU. Close only counts in horse shoe and hand grenades, but given that the Red Raiders weren’t even expected to compete for a Big 12 title this year, it’s clear that they’re headed in the right direction. Now they get to face another potent offense that happens to be a Big 12 title and national championship contender. If Tech can pull this game out, it will reach Big 12 contender status.
On the other side of the ball is No. 5 Baylor, which has put up huge numbers this year under new quarterback Seth Russell. The offense hasn’t missed a beat without Bryce Petty, and the Bears are still in contention to make the College Football Playoff. The only problem? They haven’t played anyone yet. Their three wins are over Lamar, Rice and SMU. This will be their first test, and it’s the first we’ll really learn about them.

Three big things to know
1. What happens when Baylor faces a good team? The Bears should be contenders this year, but we don’t really know much about this team yet. We’ll learn a lot about the defense against the high-powered Texas Tech offense, but Russell and the rest of the Baylor offense should be just fine.
2. How good is Texas Tech? The Red Raiders struggled last year and tailed off the year before. Can they be good for a full season in 2015? They don’t need to beat Baylor to be taken seriously, but keeping this game close would earn them a lot of respect.
3. BUTT!
