Boise State plays host to Hawaii late on Saturday night, and the Broncos are looking for a third straight blowout win after their loss to BYU. Boise’s season didn’t end that night in Provo, but they need to remain perfect and blow teams out if they want to contend for a New Years Six bowl berth. They’ve done a good job of that since losing, and they have another good opportunity against Hawaii to put up style points.
How to watch Hawaii vs. Boise State on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Are the Broncos in for another blowout win? Here’s how you can tune in, and what to watch for.

Hawaii isn’t quite the same pushover they’ve been in years past, however. They’ve gone 2-2 against a tough schedule, but are still showing up as 108th in Football Outsiders F/+ rankings. A win over Boise on the road would rank as one of the bigger upsets of the season if it were to come to pass, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Three big things to know
1. More of the same for Boise? The Broncos have responded nicely from their loss to BYU, drubbing Idaho State 52-0 and then demolishing Virginia 56-14 in Charlottesville. Hawaii will not be the toughest team Boise faces this year, so it’s hard to imagine the Broncos will have much of a problem repeating their recent performances.
2. Same old Hawaii? The Warriors haven’t been very competitive over the past few years, but they have a win over a Power Five team this year and their two losses are to Ohio State and Wisconsin. They aren’t a speed bump anymore, but Boise is still a tall order.
3. What about the kid? True freshman quarterback Brett Rypien made his first career start against Virginia last week, and he looked pretty good in the process, throwing for 321 yards and three touchdowns. Hawaii is 71st in Defensive S&P+, so he could well have a repeat performance.
