Then the Scarlet Knights ran into the buzzsaw that is Ohio State, and Brutus the Buckeye mocked them as they lost 49-7 at home. Wisconsin is going in the other direction. The Badgers lost quarterback Joel Stave against Illinois, but they staged a comeback behind backup quarterback Bart Houston. With an easy schedule ahead, Wisconsin looks like it has a chance to roll to 10-2, starting with this game.
That said, both of these teams have been inconsistent, and Wisconsin’s offense — which will likely have Stave back against Rutgers — hasn’t run anyone out of the building, while the Rutgers offense has been potent at times. Still, this could be an uphill battle for the Knights.

2. The matchup between the Wisconsin secondary and Carroo will be fascinating. If Carroo can be successful, Rutgers has a chance. If not, it’s going to be a long day for the Scarlet Knights.
