This kind of drill is popular, though controversial, in fall camp, and it’s a Temple tradition before the season starts. However, it’s pretty rare to see it before a game. Louisiana-Lafayette did it before the 2011 New Orleans Bowl and won, though, if you’re looking for precedent.
