How to watch Arkansas vs. LSU on TV or online, plus 3 things to know

How will these teams respond after eventful games? Here’s how you can tune in, and what to watch for.

Arkansas and LSU will battle for the Golden Boot on Saturday night in Baton Rouge, and both teams are coming into this game in very different places, emotionally.

LSU, of course, is coming off a deflating loss to Alabama that ruined its shot at an undefeated season. It's not out of the SEC or College Football Playoff picture by any stretch, but it no longer controls its own destiny. Star running back Leonard Fournette was completely stifled by Alabama's defense. The Razorbacks won't offer the same level of opposition, but we'll see how they react after tasting their own blood.

Arkansas, meanwhile, is coming off an overtime win over Ole Miss that featured some improbable bounces that went its way. The season has overall been a disappointment for Arkansas, but it can turn much of that frown upside down if it can grab a win off LSU.

Three big things to know

1. Power on power. These two teams are going to run the hell out of the ball. That’s been Arkansas’ bread and butter all year, despite Brandon Allen’s huge game against Ole Miss. And LSU will want to get back on track running the ball after getting shut down by Alabama. This one could be quick.

2. Emotional letdown for Arkansas? The Hogs’ win over Ole Miss was one of the crazier wins of the entire season, so it’s not unreasonable to think they might come out flat in this game. This kind of thing tends to happen when you’re dealing with large groups of 18-22 year olds.

3. Don’t let Bama beat you twice. LSU has its own letdown scenario to worry about, but it’s for a very different reason. The Tigers were undefeated and had the entire season laid out in front of them, and the loss to Alabama knocks them back into the pack and takes destiny out of their hands. They need to make sure that loss doesn’t turn into two.
