The Big 12 November meat grinder continues on Saturday night in Stillwater when No. 6 Oklahoma State hosts No. 10 Baylor. One of these teams is still undefeated, but it’s not Baylor like we all predicted at the beginning of the season. The Bears suffered their first loss of the year last week against Oklahoma at home, failing their first test against a truly good team. They don’t have a lot of time to sit around and think about it, though, as the Cowboys can do a lot of the same things the Sooners can.

That’s not to say Oklahoma State is a sure thing. No one expected the team to be undefeated and a Playoff challenger this year, so its narrow escape from Iowa State last week didn’t do much to convince people it belongs in the conversation for a Playoff spot. The Cowboys’ defense will be tested by Baylor, which finally felt the effects of playing a true freshman quarterback last week. It’s tough to think they’ll have two subpar offensive outings in a row, though, so this will probably be a shootout.

Three big things to know
1. Does Baylor bounce back? The Bears are probably out of Playoff contention after losing last week, but they can stay in the conversation and hope for the best. That would require beating the Cowboys, however. We’ll see if Baylor lets Oklahoma beat them twice.
2. Is Oklahoma State for real? Even after their big win over TCU, people are still skeptical of Oklahoma State as a Playoff-caliber team. Taking care of Baylor one week after having so much trouble with Iowa State would go a long way towards assuaging fears of them being over their head.
3. Can anyone make a stop? Neither team is known for its defense. All it might take is one or two stops down the stretch to swing this game. We genuinely don’t know if either team is capable of doing that.
