Virginia Tech defensive end Dadi Nicolas was flagged for offsides during the third quarter of Saturday's game against North Carolina. He wasn't happy with the call, and decided to let referee Ron Cherry know about his frustration. Needless to say, it was a bad move.

Cherry flagged Nicolas for an additional 15-yard penalty, extending a North Carolina drive that was facing a third-and-11. The Tar Heels eventually kicked a field goal.
We are once again reminded that it’s not a good idea to give Ron Cherry the business.
