After falling behind, 30-13, TCU scored a touchdown with a chance to tie against Oklahoma with less than a minute left. The Horned Frogs chose to go for two for the win, down 30-29, rather than kick the extra point. Backup quarterback Bram Kholhausen had a man open in the endzone, but the pass was batted down.
