Miami’s mascot wanted to get involved in Georgia Tech fight

Sometimes the Miami Hurricanes get into fights. Sometimes those fights are before the game. Sometimes those fights are after the game. Sometimes Miami fans fight themselves to ignore the game. But rarely does Miami bring its mascot, Sebastian the Ibis, into the fight.

We say rarely, because Sebastian sauntered into a postgame skirmish Saturday after the Hurricanes beat Georgia Tech, looking to throw hands. Or, in this case, wings.

Needless to say, the presence of a plush wading bird in the fracas disarmed the situation fairly quickly.
