After years of futility, Michigan football is finally back and that means one of college football’s best rivalries is back, too. These are arguably two of the best teams in the country this year, and although neither controls its destiny in the Big Ten East as a result of both losing to Michigan State, this is still the biggest the rivalry has been since the No. 1 vs. No. 2 battle in 2006.
Ohio State vs. Michigan 2015: Start time, live stream, TV schedule and 3 things to know
The rivalry is back in the national consciousness.
That said, this game could have been even bigger, and it’s particularly a letdown for Ohio State, which may have lost its chance at a College Football Playoff berth with last week’s loss to Michigan State. There are some positives for Buckeyes fans, who can finally have fun again, but last week’s offensive disasters underscore the offensive issues OSU has had all year. And now things arguably get tougher on the road against Michigan.
The Wolverines dropped their first game of the season to Utah and they lost on a fluky play against Michigan State, but they haven’t lost since and have been dominating opponents with an improved offense. This will be the toughest game either team has played and that’s how it should be on rivalry weekend.

Three big things to know
1. What can the Ohio State offense do against Michigan’s defense? The Buckeyes have been off on offense, running back Ezekiel Elliott called out the playcalling and even Urban Meyer agreed with him. Meyer will have an extended role in the playcalling against Michigan. What will we see?
2. The winner of this game will go to the Big Ten Championship Game if Michigan State loses to Penn State. That game kicks off right after this one ends. You can bet a lot of fans will be watching it.
3. Could this be a low-scoring affair? It’s generally been high-scoring, but defense is the strong point of both of these teams. We could have an old-fashioned Big Ten slugfest on our hands.
