Auburn scored another magical Iron Bowl touchdown

It’s another November miracle in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Little-used Auburn receiver Jason Smith reenacted the Tigers' miraculous 2013 Hail Mary finish against Georgia, tipping a pass to himself past two Alabama defenders, catching the tipped ball, and going 77 yards for a touchdown.

In the original version of the play, two Georgia defenders tipped a deep throw. The ball then landed in the arms of receiver Ricardo Louis, who went 73 yards for a game-winning touchdown. "The Prayer at Jordan-Hare" was eventually followed by the "Kick Six" in the Iron Bowl.

Smith, a converted quarterback, had caught just 10 passes for 110 yards before the miraculous touchdown reception.

There is one distinct difference between Smith’s catch and the Georgia miracle: This reception didn’t win a game for the Tigers. After the score, Auburn remains behind Alabama 19-13.
