Southern Cal has made overtures to Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly about the Trojans’ head coach position, should Kelly leave the Eagles, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

If the former Oregon coach wants to return to the college game, the biggest available program is reportedly interested.

Kelly’s Eagles have been blown out in consecutive games, and rumors are swirling about his future in Philadelphia. Should he leave the Eagles, though, other NFL franchises could be interested. Kelly has also been rumored for the head coach opening at Maryland.
