Texas defensive coordinator pastes wrong link, accidentally tweets ‘KKK’ search

Texas defensive coordinator just wanted to tweet out a story about life as a college football player. Instead, he linked to a search for the KKK.

On Thursday afternoon, Texas defensive coordinator Vance Bedford attempted to share a story about the challenges of playing high-level college football with his followers. Instead, he tweeted out a link to a Yahoo! search for “kkk.”

It was a curious statement, to say the least. The coach quickly deleted the poorly pasted tweet and offered up an explanation.

He then followed up with the actual story -- a cautionary tale for high school players who aren’t prepared for the jump to Division I football.

The lesson, as always, is that technology is awful. Of course, that’s not the first time this fall that the Longhorns have been involved in a Twitter snafu:
