Florida State vs. Clemson 2015 live stream: How to watch the Tigers’ toughest yet online

No. 1 Clemson will welcome No. 16 Florida State to Death Valley in a game that won’t just decide the ACC Coastal Division, it could wind up determining a College Football Playoff participant.

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

College football is giving us Christmas in November this week, and the headliner of a tremendous Saturday lineup may be an afternoon showdown in Death Valley.

That's when No. 16 Florida State travels to face No. 1 Clemson in a game that will have a huge impact on the Atlantic Coast Conference and College Football Playoff. The winning team will become the prohibitive favorite to win their division and book a spot in the ACC Championship Game. The winner will also have the ACC's inside track when it comes to qualifying for college football's final four. A Tiger win would secure their grip on the top spot in the country. The Seminoles can jump start their return to the playoff by using a road upset as the catalyst for a late-season run to a 12-1 record.

Florida State will have to do it despite some potential absences on the offensive side of the ball. Standout tailback Dalvin Cook is questionable for Saturday's game thanks to a leg injury, but progress reports from practice suggest that he'll play this weekend. The diagnosis is less clear for starting quarterback Everett Golson, who missed the Seminoles' last game against Syracuse due to a possible concussion. If he can't play, the 'Noles will turn back to junior Sean Maguire to lead them to victory. Maguire threw for 348 yards and three touchdowns against Syracuse last week, so FSU should be in good hands either way.

The Seminoles represent the final big test of Clemson’s regular season. If the Tigers can improve to 9-0, they’ll finish the season with games against Syracuse, Wake Forest, and South Carolina. Those three teams currently have a combined record of 9-16 this fall. While anything goes in a rivalry game, it’s still safe to say that Clemson will be favored to finish their 12-game schedule undefeated if they get past Florida State this weekend.

The Tigers are averaging more than 40 points per game and they want revenge after losing to the then-#1 Seminoles in overtime last season. They’ll have to defeat a Florida State team whose offense is trending upwards after whomping Syracuse last weekend. You can watch this potential shootout live on ABC, but if you’re more technologically inclined or happen to be out in some happy parking lot prepping for your own game you can always stream it online through WatchESPN.
