College football has yet to disappoint this year despite weeks that seemingly lacked big impact games. Once again, this Saturday has no shortage of important and exciting games. Three things to know
1) One less undefeated team. Undefeated No. 8 TCU is heading to take on undefeated No. 14 Oklahoma State. Both are still very much in the Playoff discussion, but this game could put the losing team out of contention.
2) Big games for the SEC. One of the most exciting rivalry games this year will be played on Saturday, with undefeated No. 2 LSU taking on No. 4 Alabama. The winner will have big implications for the top honors in the SEC and for CFP eligibility. No. 1 Clemson also takes on No. 16 FSU in what is the Tigers’ most likely chance of an upset this season.
3) Pac-12 late night madness. Just as the rest of the day’s games are wrapping up, the Pac-12 will hit the grid iron. Arizona takes on a USC team that has found a nice rhythm following Steve Sarkisian’s firing. Cal and Oregon also face off on the west coast in a game that could turn into the reason everyone is complaining about being tired on Sunday morning.
