The athletes are demanding university system president Tim Wolfe to step down, but Wolfe released a statement and did not indicate he would. Hours later, Republican and Democratic state lawmakers called for Wolfe’s job and some Mizzou faculty announced plans to walk out of class. Next up: a board meeting this morning as media descends on Columbia.
The Tigers did not practice Sunday, and it appears Saturday's game against BYU could be in doubt. If the game is cancelled, Mizzou could owe BYU $1 million. And ESPN is reporting one anonymous player disagrees with the movement. During such a tense time, empathy is the most important trait, says Rock M Nation.
