The 2015 FCS Playoff Final Four is set. The 24-team field has been winnowed down to only four teams, and those final four include some surprises. Jacksonville State, the top overall seed in the field this year, will face Sam Houston State, and on the other side of the bracket, No. 7 seed Richmond will take on No. 3 North Dakota State.

Can the Bison win it all again?

You probably remember Jacksonville State from when the Gamecocks took Auburn to overtime earlier this year, and that turned out to be their only loss of the season. They earned their spot in the semifinals by beating Charleston Southern 58-38. Their opponents, Sam Houston State, crushed Colgate 48-14 to earn their way into this matchup.
The Bison had a bit of a down year by their standards at 9-2, but the four-time defending FCS champions are doing what they always do and winning in the Playoff. They played a tight one against Northern Iowa, but came back from a halftime deficit to win 23-13 in the Fargodome. They’ll play Richmond, who beat No. 2 seed Illinois State 39-27 to get to the semis.
The games are schedule for the weekend of Dec. 18 and 19, with the winners meeting in the championship game on Jan. 9 in Frisco (Texas).
