Watch the LSU vs. Texas Tech Texas Bowl online: Time, TV schedule, live stream, 3 things to know
Here’s how you can tune in to watch the Tigers and Red Raiders square off in Houston.

The 2015 Texas Bowl will be a drastic contrast in styles as LSU takes on Texas Tech in Houston. The Tigers continue to do what they've always done, and that's run the ball and play defense. Star running back Leonard Fournette may not have run off with the Heisman Trophy like we all thought back in September, but he's still incredibly dangerous and could put up massive numbers against a porous Texas Tech defense.
The Red Raiders, meanwhile, don’t play a ton of defense or run the ball, but they do throw it around better than almost any team in the country. Quarterback Pat Mahomes has been excellent, throwing for over 4,200 yards and 32 touchdowns this year. Whether they’ll be able to throw against a talented LSU defense remains to be seen, but you know they’re going to try.

Three big things to know
1. A clash of styles. Texas Tech had the second-most passing attempts in the country this year, at 564. LSU had less than half that number, 255, which was 119th in the nation. These two teams are nearly diametrically opposed when it comes to their preferred method of moving the ball, and at the very least, it will be interesting seeing two teams go about things in such different ways.
2. Can the Texas Tech defense stop Leonard Fournette? Fournette may have flagged toward the end of the season, but he’s still an incredibly talented and explosive running back. Texas Tech also happens to have the third-worst rush defense in the country this year.
3. Will there be a Les Bump? Despite all the signs pointing to the contrary, Les Miles was not fired at the end of the regular season. There will almost certainly be staff changes, and he may not even get off the hot seat. But the players never left him, and we’ll see if they come out firing for their coach.
