Just one day after a 41-22 loss to Stanford in the Pac-12 Championship Game, USC coach Clay Helton has reportedly fired three defensive coaches, including defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox.
USC fired most of its defensive staff after Stanford’s record-setting day
This comes a day after the Trojans defense struggled mightily with the Cardinal.

Wilcox had a rough go during the Pac-12 championship game, in which Stanford star Christian McCaffrey dominated the Trojans. He was heard cussing up a storm in the coaches box and had to be told to quiet down by a USC staffer. This reportedly happened quite often. Wilcox had a particularly bad night against USC.
