TCU narrow favorites over Baylor to win 2015 Big 12 football title

The Horned Frogs open just ahead of Baylor.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The TCU Horned Frogs are slight favorites to win the Big 12 in 2015, according to 5Dimes, sitting at +200 while Baylor is listed at +225. Baylor and TCU split the 2014 Big 12 title, but the Bears earned the nod over the Frogs for the Cotton Bowl by virtue of their head to head win. They were both left out of the first College Football Playoff, but with turnover at quarterback for Baylor, the oddsmakers like TCU's chances to win the conference with a returning Trevone Boykin slightly more than Baylor's.

Here’s the full odds for the 2015 Big 12 title:

TCU +200
Baylor +225
Oklahoma +500
Oklahoma State +500
Texas +800
Kansas State +1000
West Virginia +1300
Texas Tech +1500
Iowa State +2000
Kansas +8000

Kansas State is an interesting bet at +1000, considering how often they have been in the hunt for the conference title over the past several years. They do lose star wide receiver Tyler Lockett, but they've overcome significant losses before. Their in-state rivals, Kansas, are the longest odds in the conference at +8000.
