Oregon, UCLA open as favorites for 2015 Pac-12 football championship

Can anyone in the Pac-12 unseat the Ducks in 2015?

Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon Ducks opened as favorites to repeat as Pac-12 champions, according to 5Dimes. The Ducks will have to replace Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Marcus Mariota, but oddsmakers still think they have the best chance of anyone to win the conference. Those odds may get boosted by the arrival of transfer quarterback Vernon Adams, who was one of the best players in the country on the FCS level at Eastern Washington.

UCLA and USC are both +450 to win the conference, and are just the beginning of a glut of Pac-12 South teams on the list. Stanford opens at +600, which may be curiously high after a very up-and-down 2014 campaign, but it would seem that oddsmakers think the Cardinal are a good bet to bounce back. Colorado has the longest odds in the conference, opening at +6,000.

Here are the full 2015 Pac-12 title odds:

Oregon +200
UCLA +450
USC +450
Arizona +550
Arizona State +600
Stanford +600
Utah +900
California +2,000
Washington +3,000
Washington State +4,000
Oregon State +4,000
Colorado +6,000
