Utah State quarterback Chuckie Keeton received a medical redshirt and will return to play for the Aggies as a sixth-year senior in 2015, according to head coach Matt Wells.
Utah State QB Chuckie Keeton receives another year of eligibility
Keeton was granted a medical redshirt, which will give him the chance to snare more Utah State passing records in 2015.

Keeton, who missed most of the 2014 season due to a knee injury and half of the 2013 season for the same reason, also announced the news on Twitter on Friday night.
In four years as the starter for the Aggies, Keeton has accumulated the second-most touchdown passes in school history and has the school’s highest-ever career completion percentage. With another year of eligibility, Keeton will need just three touchdown passes to eclipse Jose Fuentes for the top spot in Utah State history.
Despite losing Keeton and eight other starters, the Aggies managed to finish the 2014 season with a 10-4 record and a 21-6 victory over UTEP in the New Mexico Bowl. With Keeton healthy in 2015, Utah State will be primed to challenge Boise State for the Mountain West Conference title.
