Colorado State has a new wall mural at its football facility.
Colorado State mural features player getting tackled by actual ram
This appears to be pretty dangerous, but I also never saw a rule saying a ram can’t play football.

— CSU Rams Football (@CSUFootball) June 12, 2015 First and foremost, it seems dangerous to let rams play football. They don’t know what’s going on, don’t understand language, can’t communicate with teammates and are wildly aggressive and dangerous. Hits from other humans test the limits of our safety equipment, so I’m pretty sure getting a direct hit to the sternum from a charging ram is not in the intended use for football pads.
Also, good luck trying to teach a ram proper tackling technique. He’s not keeping his head up for anybody, and if that hit lands a couple inches higher, he’ll be tossed for targeting. Just no game awareness whatsoever.
