Star Florida State running back Dalvin Cook was found not guilty of misdemeanor assault after a day-long trial on Monday. A Tallahassee woman had alleged that Cook punched her in the face outside of a bar.

Cook was arrested in July and suspended indefinitely, pending the result, and now he will be eligible to rejoin the team. Cook rushed for over 1,000 yards last season and is expected to be the one of the best running backs in the country.

- Texas A&M announced that Kyle Allen will start for the Aggies this year.
- Also, Kansas named Montell Cozart its starter, and Northwestern and Michigan still have battles brewing that could go up until the first snap of the season.
ASU head coach’s son resigns. Todd Graham’s son, Bo, the Arizona State running backs coach, abruptly resigned due to “personal reasons.”
