Only one of these two teams is 1-0 heading into week two, but both have to be feeling pretty good about their prospects this season. While the Pac-12 had a no good, very bad week, UCLA might have found itself a Heisman contender in true freshman quarterback Josh Rosen, who dominated Virginia in last week’s season-opening win.
How to watch UCLA vs. UNLV on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
It’s time for Josh Rosen, round two.

Given how well he played against Virginia, Rosen shouldn’t have any problems with UNLV. However, the Rebels still have good prospects this season. They surprised everyone by taking Northern Illinois down to the wire in week one, and they look like they will only get better. UNLV hired the best high school coach in the Las Vegas area (Tony Sanchez) to take over its FBS program, and the early returns are promising.
That said, Sanchez hasn’t had time to put together his rebuild yet, and UCLA is looking like a legitimate contender, not only in the Pac-12, but also to make the College Football Playoff. This might not be the best game of the week, but it’s a chance to watch a high school-turned-FBS coach and possibly the Heisman winner of the future.

Three big things to know
1. Rosen looks like he’s the real deal, going 28-of-35 for 351 yards and three touchdowns in his college debut last week against Virginia. Try to watch him before he really blows up.
2. The hire of Sanchez was extremely innovative, for better or worse. Tune in to see if Sanchez can be successful and start a trend of high school coaches jumping to FBS.
3. UCLA had an inconsistent defense last season, and sometimes it lost them games they should have won. If the Bruins are to be upset, it will likely be because of the defense.
