First Quarter: Tennessee enjoys running the football, frightening your QB

Here's a fun stat that might be foreboding after just one quarter: At 4.7 yards a carry Tennessee is on pace for 300 yards rushing, and Oklahoma's on pace for about 60. The Vols lead 10-0, a score deceptive only because of Butch Jones' decision to run Alvin Kamara (5-10, 215) for no gain instead of starter beast back Jalen Hurd (6-4, 240) on a 3rd and Goal from the Sooner half-yard line. The Vols would kick a field goal instead.

Also of note: Baker Mayfield is 3-of-8 passing for 20 yards and an interception. Chalk that entirely up to a fantastic Tennessee pass rush.
