SEC falling. A week after having an unprecedented 10 teams in the AP top 25, the SEC came down to earth, with only seven teams making the cut. Arkansas (lost to Toledo), Tennessee (lost to Oklahoma) and Mississippi State (lost to LSU) fell, while Auburn fell 12 spots after needing overtime to survive FCS Jacksonville State. The SEC will be fine, but this wasn’t its week.
The SEC’s AP Top 25 record didn’t last long
