If you love 80s (and early 2000s, I suppose) nostalgia, we’ve got the game for you. Nebraska heads down to Miami to take on the Hurricanes on Saturday afternoon, and the two teams are led by coaches in drastically different positions. Al Golden is hanging onto his job in Coral Gables by a thread, and judging by his team’s play in its first two games, is probably in his last year at Miami.
How to watch Nebraska vs. Miami on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
One of college football’s classic matchups comes back to life. Here’s how you can watch and what to look for.
Mike Riley isn’t dealing with any of that heat, as he just took over at Nebraska after a long stint at Oregon State. The Huskers lost his first game on a Hail Mary to BYU, but bounced back nicely to beat South Alabama last week.

Three big things to know
1. Can Miami play a complete game? In their only game against FBS competition, Miami struggled to put away Florida Atlantic before pulling away late. Nebraska is certainly better than FAU, and it’s going to take a better, more focused effort from the Canes to come away with a win.
2. Time for Mike Riley’s first marquee win in Lincoln? A season opening win over BYU would’ve been a nice place to start for Riley, but that wasn’t in the cards, apparently. Given the historical backdrop, returning home with a win over Miami would be an excellent way for Riley to put an early stamp on his tenure.
3. Breathing room for Al Golden? Everyone knows about Miami quarterback Brad Kaaya, but the poor play of the Miami offensive line hasn't done much to help him. The Huskers will have the toughest pass rush Miami has faced so far this season, so if they can't play well enough to win at home, the drumbeats for Golden's job will go from loud to deafening.
