That’s pretty.
Three big things to know
1. The debut of the Jeremy Johnson show. The 6'5, 240-pound junior is the latest quarterback for Auburn, and expectations are high. He played in spots last year, but with Nick Marshall gone, the keys to the car are firmly in Johnson's hands. If he can live up to the hype, Auburn could be a Playoff team. They have a tough matchup in Louisville, though, and it's certainly possible that this much ballyhooed season could get derailed before it leaves the station.
2. Strap in for Texas A&M and Arizona State. If you like points, and points in bunches, this is the game for you. The Sun Devils are getting a lot of preseason run as Pac-12 contenders, but they have to travel to Houston for a virtual home game for Texas A&M.
3. WE WANT BAMA. The showdown between Wisconsin and Alabama in Dallas is being marketed as the big non-conference matchup of the first week, but we’ve seen big non-conference games featuring Alabama turn into laughers early. Hopefully Wisconsin can keep this competitive.
