Oklahoma a road favorite at Tennessee, and Week 2’s other early betting lines

Vegas expects close fights in Oklahoma-Tennessee and Oregon-Michigan State.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Betting lines, according to lines tracked by OddsShark, are out for week two, and while the week is full of mismatches, there are a few big games with interesting spreads. Most notably, Oklahoma opened as a three-point favorite at upstart Tennessee in what amounts to the biggest non-conference game of the past half-decade for the Volunteers. However, the line has already been bet down to a -1 just a few hours after it opened.

The other big games of the week have already seen movement. Michigan State is now a two-point favorite at home against Oregon after that game opened as a pick em, while Mississippi State is now just a two-point underdog at home to LSU after the game opened at a three-point spread.

On the other end of the spectrum, there are some massive spreads, as college football’s best take on weaker opponents. USC is a massive 43.5-point favorite over Idaho, while Ohio State, Alabama and Wisconsin are all favorites of at least 33 points.
